Sol Ruca faces former partner Zaria at NXT Stand & Deliver
Sol Ruca confronts her ex-tag team partner Zaria in a personal grudge match at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday. The bout stems from Zaria's spear on Ruca before a February title defense against Jacy Jayne, dissolving their ZaRuca alliance. Ruca described the matchup to Fox News Digital as deeply emotional, rooted in their shared history and Zaria's jealousy.
Ruca and Zaria teamed as ZaRuca for over a year, becoming staples on WWE NXT. Ruca ascended as a title contender, capturing the Women’s Speed Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship. Zaria, however, fell short of similar success, leading to tension that erupted when she attacked Ruca at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Feb. 3, 2026.
Ruca, typically a crowd favorite, now draws boos amid the feud. She told Fox News Digital: "This match isn’t just a standard match. This is about us and our story – started off as best friends... But somewhere along the way, jealousy got involved." Ruca won those titles over the past year, while Zaria missed opportunities for gold.
NXT Stand & Deliver airs at 7 p.m. ET from The Factory in St. Louis, Missouri, on YouTube. Ruca anticipates a close contest, given their familiarity: "She knows me really, really well and I know her really, really well so it can go either way."
