Rory McIlroy pursues Masters title to complete career Grand Slam

Rory McIlroy, the Northern Ireland native and four-time major winner currently competing on the PGA Tour, seeks victory at the Masters Tournament to achieve the career Grand Slam.[1][2]

McIlroy claimed the U.S. Open in 2011, the PGA Championship in 2012 and 2014, and The Open Championship in 2014.[1][3]

The Masters, contested annually at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, remains the sole major missing from his resume. He has made 16 appearances with a best finish of second place in 2022.[2][4]

The 2025 Masters Tournament is scheduled for April 10-13 at the 7,555-yard par-72 layout.[5][6]
