ASTOUND Group Appoints Heather Clayton CFO to Support Expansion Drive

ASTOUND Group has named Heather Clayton its new Chief Financial Officer, recruiting an executive with deep experience managing finances amid rapid organizational growth in Las Vegas. This hire equips the company to handle upcoming mergers, acquisitions, new ventures, and intellectual property development. The appointment follows recent additions to venue leadership, signaling a comprehensive strengthening of executive ranks.

Clayton's Experience in Complex Operations

Clayton spent six years with the Vegas Golden Knights organization, rising from Controller to CFO. She directed accounting and finance during a phase that grew the entity count from two to thirteen within just over two years. Her oversight extended to financial operations across related venues, five partnering foundations, and several hotel acquisitions as the organization expanded significantly beyond its core activities.

Prior Career Foundations

Before that role, Clayton honed her skills in Las Vegas's casino sector at American Casino and Entertainment Properties, advancing from General Ledger Manager to Controller. This trajectory demonstrates her expertise in handling intricate, multi-entity financial structures under intense pressure. Such preparation aligns directly with ASTOUND's needs for strategic financial guidance.

Strategic Fit for ASTOUND's Next Phase

As CFO, Clayton will steer financial operations and planning to enable organic expansion alongside targeted acquisitions and proprietary intellectual property buildup. “Building a company of real scale takes more than exceptional creative and operational capability. It requires the financial leadership to match,” said Dale Morgan, CEO of ASTOUND Group. “Heather scaled a complex, multi-entity organization in this market and did it at the highest level. She knows how to build financial infrastructure that enables growth, not just tracks it. Her joining us is a clear signal of where ASTOUND is headed.”

Commitment to Las Vegas Ecosystem

“ASTOUND is at an inflection point that does not come around often,” said Heather Clayton, CFO of ASTOUND Group. “The creative capability, the fabrication infrastructure, the client roster, the venue momentum: everything is in place for something significant. The opportunity to help build the financial foundation for that growth, in a city I know and love, was one I could not pass up.” The role reinforces ASTOUND's established footprint in Las Vegas, where it provides experiential design, fabrication, and venue integration for major events and installations. With the city solidifying its status as a center for entertainment and brand experiences, this positioning enhances ASTOUND's capacity to serve large-scale clients comprehensively.
